I really like this version! Great job, hwarrensen! Of course, having a good story in the first place makes this exercise enjoyable, doesn't it?

One suggestion: I'd change "young Chinese girls" to "young Chinese women". After all, they already graduated from college. Using "girls" leads people to think they are much younger (high schooler or younger).

A few minor corrections (marked bold and strike out):

Katherine, Megan, and Sandy (put your girls’ names here), three innocent young Chinese ~~girls~~ women rushed to the States in 1997 and then struggled from dot-com to dot-tomb. From the sand beach under Golden Gate Bridge to the rocky and snowy Tahoe, you will follow their footprints in seeking their American Dreams…
