Responsibilities
The best candidates will have solid experience developing web applications utilizing Web 2.0 technologies. You will be joining a team who's committed to working on high quality code in a LAMP (PHP) environment.
You must have experience with databa<x>se-driven web technologies to work on high-volume, high-availability, large-scale lamp system.
This candidate will be instrumental for designing features and addressing critical issues on some of our biggest game titles, which have several million users across multiple social networks. You must be able to write coherent, organized code and be comfortable working on a complicated code-ba<x>se with high levels of abstraction.
Required Skills
• BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-6 years software development experience
• 1 year with PHP
• Passion for software development and OO Design
• Familiarity a plus in one or more of the following: Linux, Apache, MySQL
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS
• Social network platform experience
Nice to Have:
• Strong social network platform experience
• Comfortable working with huge data sets and massively high concurrent-user load
• Experience with memchache a plus
• Experience with sharding and/or sharded databa<x>ses a plus
• Fluent in spoken and written English
