海归网有不少网友是在国内外制造业的。上次　　jli<x>nk 大虾曾经谈过他在美国收购工厂然后搬迁来中国的经验。西方发达国家由于劳动力和土地价格等的成本问题，受后发展国家尤其是中国产品的压迫，在激烈竞争中都有搬迁的倾向。我们都觉得这是制造业的一个大趋势，而海归在其中可以大有作为。现在有网友是在美国做工业产品的　outsourcing 的，工作中接触到不少美国工厂的收购机会或者可能的搬迁项目。因此想通过海归网来召集一个研讨会，讨论在此行业的相关操作问题，可能的话，可以初步组织一个专业团队。我想大家可以通过这次在留交会上的见面来讨论。这种工程可能涉及到的人员，我想至少应该有：

－投行。因为会涉及到国内外的企业收购问题及其谈判；
－工业工程
－工业企业管理
－供应链管理　
－公关。因为会涉及到跟国内地方或中央政府的互动
－相关产品的工程技术人员。这次会讨论的案例可能涉及卡车发动机汽缸、铸造、机加工、装配、印刷机组装和营销等。

Project

Outsourcing production of a mid-sized US manufacturing company.

Size of the China Project: $50-100m annual sales

Nature of production: Casting, machining and assembling

Business focus: industrial equipments

Management team needed in China team

Operational management team members
Experience with production management
Familiar with lean manufacturing practices and other Toyota manufacturing practices
Handling business practices in both US and China.

Engineering and product development team members
Experience with product design and prototyping
Ideal candidate: director of engineering department at mid-sized US companies/divisions of large companies

Deal Team and Accounting team
Experience in M&A in China or direct investment in China
Familiar with GAAP and experience of managing accounting department in China
Ideal candidates: head of the accounting department in WOFE/JV in China
