还有一半的兵力没有投入哈。咱不急。
Is Lehman for sale now? Who will be the taker? HongKong & Shanghai Bancorp? I don't think Lehman will default because it can borrow money from the Fed windows now. But if its major clients are all leaving, it has no future. Investment Banking is based on confidence and trust from its clients. No clients, no business, no money. Bear Stearns was fetched at initial $2 per share with $8 added on later; Lehman price was $12 and half, close to Bear's price now. If someone is interested, what will be the fair price that Lehman will accept?? since its employees own about 30% of its own stocks.
Remember, the most company value (brain power) leaves the company parking lots each evening. Whoever buys it, has to keep the employees happy. And I have found out it was fairly difficult to do nowadays. Sad
