Group Leader/Engineering Manager
Truck/Bus Suspension Design Center - Beijing, China
Responsibilities
• Directly responsibility for planning, organizing, and monitoring design projects from conceptual stage through manufacturing implementation.
• Supervises work of Engineering support personnel in developing products and improvements to meet cost, function, safety, weight and aesthetic criteria.
• Prepares project schedule, budget, manpower requirements, implementation plan and progress reports for department and management group for timely completion of projects.
• Coordinates overall project activities and promote team atmosphere as they relate to other functional groups.
• Defines performance, safety and regulatory standards applicable to the product; initiates and monitors testing and certification of conformance to the identified standards.
• Prepares and coordinates accurate complete product documentation, including ECNs, drawings, part and tooling quotes, BOMs, process/standard costs, stress analysis and test reports.
• Reviews requests for product changes, makes recommendations as to disposition and coordinate release of approved requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
•
• Must speak fluent Mandarin and English
Bachelors of Science in Engineering; mechanical preferred.

• 5-10 years work experience in a manufacturing environment working in product development/design.
Experience with dynamic testing procedures and techniques.
Experience with design of casting, forgings, and fabrications.
Experience with tolerance stack-ups and GD&T.
Ability to direct Designers, CAE Engineers, and Test Lab Technicians on projects.
• 3 years suspension design experience (heavy duty or air suspension) experience preferred.
Salary
Salary range is 60-70K and is dependent upon level of experience and education
