Position: Manager – IPR Protection for China Domestic Market
As a member of China IPR Protection Team, the position will require an extremely close working relationship with Business Team (Sales, Customer and legal, QA) and outside agencies (Law Firms / investigating agencies) and government agencies (AIC/TSB /PSB/SPP/Court/Customs) to facing the challenges of increasing counterfeiting / infringing issues in China Market.
Main Duties：
-Execute annual and long-term IPR Protection Strategies.
-Manage/supervise outside agencies and coordinate government agencies to track, investigate and take enforcement actions on counterfeiting operations in China.
-Strengthen partnership with our sale teams, especially feedback and solve local counterfeiting/infringing issues.
-Train and lobby local government agencies to get priorities to support our IPR Protection in China market.
-Participate in investigations, especially those key counterfeiting networks operated in China market.
-Monitor local market and conduct market sweep in major wholesale markets.
-Assist criminal prosecutions and civil compensations against counterfeiters/infringers in China, Conduct joint actions with related QBPC Members and local brand owners.
-Report/sample filing, Monthly update and big case circulars and run Global Counterfeiting Database.
-Testing report / monitor post-action follow-up, like penalty decision/destruction.
Primary Global Competencies (four or five most critical) :

Primary Functional/Technical Competencies: (four or five most critical)
-3+ years of professional experience on IPR Protection, experience of working in investigation agencies, law enforcement agencies, law firm is preferred.
-Bachelor degree, major in law / English / Commerce preferred.
-Experience in handling criminal and civil investigations, as well as working with government agencies and investigation agencies.
-Willing to travel, especially in North China.
-Excellent communication and co-ordination skills. Good English and computer skills.
-Work independently and responsibly and be capable of working under pressure and be a good team player.
