职位1：Senior Android Software Engineer -View Proliferation, Beijing
The Desktop Business Unit at VMware is looking for a senior software engineer in VMware’s Beijing R&D center. This team is responsible for bringing VMware View Client to new platforms and devices. These new platforms will include additional environments such as thin client and those popular mobile operating systems, as well as additional hardware architectures. Much of the work will be done in close collaboration with other VMware teams and strategic partners. This is an open-ended opportunity which will require excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of a variety of small form-factor operating systems and hardware architectures, and the ability to be a leader within a small independent team.
Responsibilities:
* Port VMware Client software to new operating systems and hardware architectures, adapting the design as necessary to fit device requirements
* Profiling and optimization of software performance on targeted platform
* Mentor and potentially lead other team members
* Help prioritize, plan, and track projects
* Communicate and coordinate with other VMware R&D organizations and strategic partners
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience of commercial software product development
* Strong Android software development experiences are highly preferred
* Experience in C/C++, Java, javascript, Python
* Experience with several different application development environments (Linux/GTK, Win32, MAC OS X, etc) and at least one mobile platform, such as iPhone OS, Android, Chrome OS). UI development experience in these platforms is a big plus
* Experience in project management and software development process
* Excellent design, programming and debugging skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Quick learning, creative thinking and strong analytical skills
* Passion for work, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* BSCS, MSCS or equivalent Pluses
* Experience of USB Stack and implementation is a big plus
* Experience working with partners, or for an open-source software project
* Experience with remote display protocols (RDP, ICA, RGS, etc), highly interactive 2D/3D graphics, or remote device integration
* Experience with multiple chip architectures (x86, ARM)
职位2：Sr. QA Engineer –System Test INIPS

System test INIPS (Integrated Networking and IP Storage) QA team is seeking QA engineers with a proven record of delivering high quality software and a desire to work on industry leading data center virtualization products. System Test Quality Engineer will report to the QA Manager, you will develop and execute customer-like tests at the system level of VMware vSphere product set. The successful candidate will be a self starter who is able to grasp the requirements & setup/execute the INIPS testing of VMware vSphere. You will work with System Test level environment testing of VMware vSphere. You would be a part of a global team and would be required to work with developers & QA counterparts across the continent to ensure a high quality product release. You will have ownership of new vSphere feature(s) and be responsible for test design, test execution, automation and tracking of the feature(s). Responsibilities include contributing to improvements in team process, methodologies and new technologies. In addition, manage activities to meet delivery dates, and report accurate, complete status.

As a member of the GOS Validation team, you will be responsible for validating the correct operation of over 800 Guest Operating Systems (GOS) on our award-winning virtualization products. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad set of functional areas, such as network, storage, and video and a large number of Operating Systems, such as Windows, Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, BSD Unix, and NetWare.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead and influence quality assurance across all VMware engineering groups, from inception through release.
* Work closely with Development and Product Management to ensure timely and quality product releases.
* Subject matter expert for Microsoft OS from Windows 7 to DOS.
* Prepare test plans and define test cases for one or more features of a given product release.
* Design, implement and execute automated and manual tests.
* Evaluate and communicate test results.
* File and maintain bug reports.
* Participate in review of feature specification and design.

Requirements
* BS or MS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
* 6 - 10 Years of experience as a software QA engineer working on a large software product requiring a high degree of collaboration and integration.
* Understanding windows installer knowledge about MSI and MSM setup packages.
* Understanding the Windows deployment process, knowing the knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (formerly Systems Management Server) , sysprep, Windows Automated Installation Kit, Windows Preinstallation Environment, RIS
* Familiar with windows driver testing tools such as WHQL, Windows Logo Kit (WLK), Driver Test Manager (DTM)
