Job description
Manage a delivery team in Shenzhen forclients from Japan market.
Develop customized business model supported by teams of engagement, transition, and service delivery, to fully utilize ITS competency, to brand and promote China GD integrated solution to China/Japan and global clients.
Manage team to achieve operation targets of service quality, resource fulfillment, business operation, business controls compliance, financial and productivity:
• Service Quality
– Drive delivery team to achieve SLA/SLO objectives.
– Ensure team meet/exceed customer satisfaction target.
• Resource Management
– Hire and fulfil new demands with the necessary skills to execute project responsibilities.
– Address the skills gaps of delivery team members and devise action plan to ensure that all delivery team members have adequate skills sets with client’s requirements.
– Provide training/mentoring on service deliverables to newly hired resources.
– Provide training/mentoring on service deliverables to existing resources in order to upgrade their skill level and thereby enhance quality/productivity
• Delivery Management
– Issue management and crisis handling.
– Exception handling and new business exploration.
– Implement SIP (Service Improvement Plan) to address issues/risks that are identified in the day to day operation.
– Work with team leader to manage the workload/performance of delivery team.
– Maintain key members and backup resource information for Business Continuity Plan.
– Communicate to global service line for competency sharing.
• Business Controls
– Ensure the business control procedures are followed and documentations are in control.
– Maintain a satisfactory audit posture, zero audit exposure and violation.
Required
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in IT industry, with previous experience in a managerial position
• At least 5 years experience in IT infrastructure, mainly server OS, middleware, application hosting, database, and etc. IT Architect background is highly preferred
• At least 5 years experience in project management
• English: Intermediate
• Japanese: Fluent
Additional information
Requirements:
Business exposure in an IT outsourcing industry is preferred.
Rich project management experiences.
Confidence and acumen in business presentation, with strong business acquisition and service mindset.
Fluent in both spoken Japanese and Chinese.
Proven ability in formal Japanese writing, capable for publication-level writing in Japanese.
PMI certified PMP is preferred.
