Software development engineer-Distributed systems and services Located in Beijing, China
Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelor degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of industry experience.
o Strong proven ability in building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems.
o Design and coding skills in Java on Unix Platforms. (Equivalent languages such as C# or C++ accepted).
o Experience with object oriented design and development.
o SQL and data modeling skills.
o Proficiency with at least one of these scripting languages: Perl / Python / Ruby / shell script.
o Ability to read and write in English.
Preferred Qualifications
o Master degree in computer science with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or PhD.
o Familiarity with the Cost per Click Ad model and the Internet advertisement industry.
o Knowledge of HTTP Protocol, REST, xml, J2EE, javascript a plus
o Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Experience with Oracle
o Experience with search engine and indexing systems such as Solr/Lucene or Nutch
o Conversational language skills in both Mandarin and English

Software Development Engineer - Merchant
Requirements:
o 5+ years of industry experience developing large scale distributed systems
o Fluency in C/C++ or Java
o Familiarity with Ruby, Perl, javascript, AJAX, xml/XSLT, SOAP, SQL, Oracle/Berkeley databases, caching technologies, web protocols, Web services technologies a strong plus.
o Solid understanding of object-Oriented design and concepts
o Experience developing software in a Unix/Linux environment
o Excellent communication and analytical skills
o BS or MS in Computer Science
