2003相约北美高科技交流大会
"2003相约北美高科技交流大会（硅谷－华盛顿）"将于2003年11月14日～28日，在位于美国西海岸的世界高科技重镇硅谷及东海岸的美国首都华盛顿隆重举行。这是首次在美国西、东两地联合举办的中、美高科技大规模深度交流活动。本届大会是在美国硅谷成功举办了2002年"相约硅谷高科技项目人才交流大会"、美国首都华盛顿成功举办了2001、2002年"北美高新技术项目和人才交流大会"的基础上举行的。大会以中美高科技产业（包括电子、信息、软件、通讯、生物、医药等）招商引资、项目合作和人才招聘等方面的广泛交流与合作为主，同时包括传统产业的信息技术改造。大会还将为有兴趣者安排在拉斯维加斯举办的"世界信息产业博览会"（COMDEX）的参观活动。
目前，大会的各项准备活动正在紧张进行中。组委会一致认为，大会的成功离不开硅谷地区众多企业、协会的协助，以及广大各行业专业人士的大力支持。所以特别推出各种方式的合作形式鼓励大家参与到大会的组织准备工作中来：
1、热切希望有意参展或赞助本会的中外企业、公司、科技园区与组委会联系。
2、对能够为本次大会从中美两地引入参展商、赞助商、广告商的单位和个人，大会将给于表彰及收入提成。
3、对于意图在中国发展业务，寻求项目合作伙伴的企业和个人，欢迎向组委会提交项目计划书，大会将统筹安排。
4、欢迎有意以其他方式参加大会的单位和个人与组委会联系洽谈。
如有兴趣，组委会将提供相关的材料，同时我们也将陆续向大家报告交流大会的最新信息。

2002年11月8日～10日，"2002相约硅谷高科技项目人才交流会"由北美中国半导体协会和美国国际交流协会在美国硅谷共同主办，并且取得了巨大成功。包括来自上海、沈阳、香港、厦门、深圳、苏州、宁波、杭州等地高科技园区和企业以及中国科技部火炬高技术产业开发中心、中国全国青年科技工作者协会、美国加州匹兹堡市等出席了此次&# 30427;会。三天与会期间，大会安排了展位展示、新闻发布、特别招待酒会、开、闭幕晚宴、项目展示会、参展单位推介会、专题演讲会、专业研讨会等近三十场相关活动，吸引了硅谷乃至全美专业人士约六千人次冒雨前来参会。美国《洛杉玑时报》、《观察家报》、《世界日报》、KPST无线电视台等中英文媒体对此大量报道。
2003 China Meets North America Hi-Tech Expo
"2003 China Meets North America High-Tech Expo" (Silicon Valley - Washington D.C.), a large-scale, multi-dimensional international high-tech event, will be held during November 14th-28th.
The 2003 China Expo is based on the great success of ?002 China Meets Silicon Valley High-Tech Expo? It is our ultimate goal to provide a multi-functional forum for information and technology exchange, to provide an efficient and cost-effective channel for companies with international interests to build crucial business relationships with Chinese counterparts, and to open up many exciting opportunities for international investment and trade. This year the Expo offers expanded services in two locations: Santa Clara, California (11/14-16) and Washington, DC (11/21-23). Between the two stops, interested parties can also participate in the COMDEX (11/17-20) in Las Vegas.
The Expo Organizing Committee has developed various plans to encourage the involvement of the local high-tech community here in the Silicon Valley:
1. We welcome all parties who are interested in becoming exhibitors or sponsors of the event to contact the Expo Committee.
2. We encourage and award groups or individuals to help promoting the event both in China and the US with a revenue-sharing program.
3. Groups or individuals who are looking for business partners, investors and investment projects in China are urged to submit their executive summary of the business plan to the Committee.
4. We also welcome any interested groups or individuals to discuss any other forms of collaboration with us.

Review: 2002 China Meets Silicon Valley High-Tech Expo
"2002 China Meets Silicon Valley High-Tech Expo" (11/8-10/2002), jointly organized by NACSA and SIBE, was the first large international event that encompassed all business aspects in hi-tech industry, ranging from entrepreneurships, business development, to technology development and collaboration. More than 20 prestigious government groups and enterprises from China and over 6000 local professionals participated in the event. They brought hundreds of technology investment projects/opportunities to seek business collaboration and exchange with their counterparts in the Silicon Valley.
