If Haigui's are still having the mentality that we are coming from a vantage point, we will lose out in our future competition with the locals.
I recently had a little talk with Honeywell's China president. As a white boy, he has changed his mentality from sending business to China to learning business from the Chinese. I think we overseas Chinese should take a page from his book--truly respect the locals and learn.
