My friends have a small company in China and they want me to go back to be in charge of all the operations because they all have a very good full time job. Just as much as I like the opportunity, I have my issues.
First of all, since the company is still in its early age and they don’t want to look for VC just yet, they can only offer 1/6 of my current salary. That throws me off the cliff financially. Secondly, the company is basically a software company specializes in image processing. I am not an expert in that and don’t have too much knowledge about the industry. Anybody familiars with the industry has any comment on its market, the competitiveness and survival ratio? I just want to get a second opinion because this is going to be a big move for me. Hard to decide…..
