Chinese R&D are better than Japanese, if given 1) more R&D fund and 2) more exposure to new technology. The first is much depent on our chinese to buy more china' made products, and the second one is based our Education and those Haigui, who worked on oversea for some years.
Japan's major market are shifting to China, so if we fund more chinese product and they will have to shift more technology to chinese local company which will grow and suppress Japan in a faster way.
I am a R&D oversea and I don't feel much Japan, even US are smart or better than US, but they are better Engineering trained and organized, more funded than our chinese counterpart. R&D in china will much stronger once got more fund!!!
Support chinese products, that is what I am always doing. I always buy chinese ELEctionic products, even cars if they market here.
