The VP Licensing of China will represent our client in the China market through management of its existing local China-based licensees along with generation of new business across various licensing categories. The VP will also manage the client’s Chinese Retail Operations via relationship with its existing master retail licensee. He or she will be a representative to the Chinese TV broadcast business in an effort to help bring our client’s content to the China TV landscape and act as US counsel liaison to local Chinese counsel related to anti-piracy litigation. The VP will operate as the sole representative of the China market with plans to eventually lead and grow our Client’s small licensing and retail office in Shanghai. This role will report to the SVP International Licensing (based in Los Angeles).

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree.
• 7- 10 years related experience in Chinese consumer products, brand management, retail and licensing with highly recognizable brands.
• TV relationships with Chinese broadcasters and co-producers a plus.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• International management experience of working with a US based company.
