PM/Release Manager(Web Search)
Location: Beijing, China
Roles & Requirements:
We are looking for a positive individual who can accept new challenges and grow in a broad technology area. As release manager you will oversee and track key project metrics, maintain and track project schedules, communicate project health, and manage weekly meetings to drive the team to completion of short-term goals. You will be responsible for all release requirements and procedures, assist the Extreme team to maintain project schedules and milestones, and ensure that our releases meet regulatory and customer needs. You will have an opportunity to plan and develop processes for sustained engineering within the Search Technology Center.
This role requires a bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience plus 4 or more years in product development and software product definition. Work experience in release & project management is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work across teams required. The core requirements are organization, planning, communication, and cross team collaboration, as well as being self driven and self motivated, and working independently. Additionally, knowledge of scheduling, bug management, product planning, and a desire to drive product quality are key attributes. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field required.
