Position: Director of Marketing
You will utilize your in-depth marketing and product knowledge in IP Ethernet field to manage the marketing efforts required to achieve the organizations revenue objectives.
Main responsibilities include:
◆identifying targeted market segments, understanding product evolution trend and customer requirements;
◆developing strategic marketing plans for a product or product line through market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer engagement and business planning, positioning product line with differentiation;
◆working together with sales organization to define sales pipeline and establish strategic partnerships with key players in IP Ethernet and related filed;
◆coordinating resources in engineering and operation organization to get successful product generation and introduction;
Job Requirements:
◆7+ years experience in strategic and product marketing of data communication and the related fields;
◆Proven marketing/product management experience from the telecommunication industry and/or from data communication system vendors;
◆Deep understanding of OEM/ODM business model is a plus;
◆Strong presentation skills, organizational abilities and strategic thinking capabilities to exploit key market trends and bridge customer business requirements to product development;
◆Experience as a driver and champion able to sell and support ideas and make things happen is essential;
◆Strong ability to interface with engineering, customers and sales teams is required.
◆Willingness and ability to work in a startup environment with limited resource and pressure for timely result is a must;
◆Domain knowledge of the IP Ethernet Switch market and deep technical understanding of related technologies including Fast, Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet Switching, Routing protocols (RIP, OSPF), L2-L7 QoS Classification and network design.
◆Strong written and oral communications and language skills are required.
◆BS/MSEE Degree and/or MBA preferred.
