Insurance Domain :
Should have good understanding of personal and commercial insurance business like life, Auto, home etc,
Should have thorough understanding of the Insurance value chain.
For Personal & Commercial - experience in claims and settlements
For Life/Auto/Home – Any product experience is being preferred.
Experience in analytics area with product experience is preferred.
Experience in structured requirements gathering, analysis & documentation in Banking domain projects.
Experience in conducting requirement gathering workshop involving senior stakeholders.
Experience of Requirements capturing using UseCases .
Experience in requirement definition, test cases preparation and helping UAT of the software/product.
Understanding of compliance and regulations (in APAC, US/UK geos).
Knowledge functions points estimations (this could be optional).
Should be conversant with ppt, Excel and requirements management tools.
Securities Domain:
Should have basic knowledge of capital market (debt, equity, fixed income, derivatives, bonds etc), preferably across geos (like US, UK or APAC).
Should have high level understanding of control functions such as credit, market & operational risk, and risk management.
Should have high level understanding on trade life cycles processes (like Capture, Confirmation, Clearing and settlements).
Should understand concepts of front-office, middle-office & back-office.
Experience in structured requirements gathering, analysis & documentation in Securities domain projects.
Experience in conducting requirement gathering workshop involving senior stakeholders.
Experience of Requirements capturing using UseCases.
Good amount (say about 3 years ) of experience in requirement definition, test cases preparation and helping UAT of the software/product.
Should be conversant with ppt, Excel and requirements management tools.
Understanding of regulatory requirements, like SOXs, MiFed, STP etc
Responsibilities
Will be involved in discussions with customer to gather the requirements and document the same
Will be required to analyze the requirements document and create a detailed functional specification
Will have to interact with development team (at onsite and offshore) to educate them on the application’s business knowledge and provide clarity on the application
Will have to interface with customer to understand any new requirements and analyze its impact on the existing application Consulting Team
Involve in thought leadership activities within the domain and work with the engagement team in creating proactive propositions
Participate in requirements for proposal process from domain’s perspective
Conduct domain workshops for the development team on various business functions
