Overall Responsibilities
To conduct independent reviews and evaluations of any and all management operations and activities to appraise:
1.Reliability and integrity of financial and operating information.
2.Compliance with policies, plans, standards, laws and regulations which could have significant impact upon operations.
3.Effectiveness in accomplishment of objectives and goals established for the corporation, subsidiaries and operating units.
4.Measures taken to safeguard assets.
5.Economy, effectiveness and efficiency in the use of resources.
Specific Duties
1.Assist in analyzing risk potential and recommend appropriate audit locations and activities.
2.Assist in preparation of the planning memo, notify audited locations and assist in preparation of all preliminary, draft and final reports.
3.Perform all fieldwork in competent and professional manner. Provide evidential support for all report recommendations.
4.Identify and document controls or lack thereof to protect assets from loss, evaluate areas of risk and detect and prevent fraud.
5.Prepare adequate work papers as required by type of audit.
6.Prepare recommendations for consideration or implementation considering materiality, pertinence to audit and documentary evidence.
7.Stay abreast of laws and other regulatory issues that impact corporate governance and control.
8.Stay abreast of relevant accounting principles and pronouncements as well as all relevant corporate policies.
9.Interact with all levels of management at audited sites and at the regional level.
10.Assist in the preparation of documents and reports that are required for use by Internal Audit Director for audit committee meetings and other senior management requirements.
Qualifications/Personal Requirements
1.Bachelor degree or above, major in accounting.
2.Minimum 3 to 4 years experience from Big 4 for external and internal audit role and with IA experience from manufacturing industry is preferred.
3.Experience from manufacturing industry accounting and controlling preferred, and have experience for SOX audit.
4.Good understanding of internal controlling, generally accepted auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
5.Strong integrity
.6.Inquisitive by nature.
7.Organized and with attention to detail.
8.Good written and oral communication skills (both in English and Chinese).
9.Willing to travel between 60% of the time.
