Reporting directly to the Finance & Compliance Director, this role will
(1) Conduct independent reviews on the company internal & system controls and evaluate their adequacy, effectiveness and compliance with the company policy and SOX;
(2) Provide recommendations to improve internal controls and work processes and follow-up on their implementation status;
(3) Conduct in-house training to promote corporate governance, SOX compliances
(4) Draft management policies and document / update work procedures and flowchart;
(5) Review financial statements to ensure the compliance with local and US GAAP and reconciliations;
(6) Liaise with external and internal auditors on annual audit planning and findings;
(7) Assist the Finance Controller on ad hoc projects / assignments;
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for individuals with
(1) Qualified accountant and degree holder
(2) At least 5 years work experience in Big four and multinational companies
(3) Internal audit experience preferred, retail experience preferred
(4) Familiar with SOX, US GAAP and China GAAP
(5) Practical knowledge on China finance and reporting
(6) Familiar with SAP ERP system
(7) Good English Skills
