Responsibilities:
+ Manage and develop China operations, particularly focusing on the sales department
+ Develop the organization and grow domestic sales according to the strategy defined by headquarters
+ Develop and maintain domestic clients, engage with international clients in coordination with headquarters
+ Manage and control day-to-day operations, actively assisted by the Finance Manager (Deputy GM)
+ Responsible for annual budgeting, and meeting Key Performance Indicators set in coordination with headquarters
+ Ultimate responsibility for P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet of China subsidiary
+ Manage, supervise and evaluate direct subordinates, coach and develop key staff, mediate between department managers
+ Function as effective interface between headquarters and China subsidiary by comprehensively and transparently communicating results and risks to both sides
+ Determine feasibility of entering additional market segments and industries
Requirements:
+ Bachelor or Higher
+ Degree in relevant Technical Discipline such as Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is preferred
+ Experience as Automotive Executive with 10+ years of management experience and success in achieving revenue goals
+ 5+ years experience in selling to senior decision makers in the Automotive Industry in China
+ Have Direct Sales Channel Management experience
+ Strong Sales Track Record
+ Experience with International and Local Automotive OEMs
+ Proven ability to excel in an operation with cross-functional responsibility in China
+ Understanding of high-performance hoses and pipes for the automotive industry is preferred
+ Ability to drive regional business strategies and implement associated tactical plans
+ Well-developed commercial understanding including strategic account management, sales process management and negotiations
+ Very strong people orientation and interpersonal skills
+ High level of integrity
+ High level of empathy to handling a diverse set of personalities and ambiguous situations
+ Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills
+ Self-motivated and directed
+ Strong affinity with company and products
+ Willingness to work and live in Anting District of Shanghai
+ Fluent in written and spoken English
+ Knowledge of German and Chinese (Mandarin)
