HP Software&Solutions R&D team in Shanghai is looking for talents working for the development of leading software testing products: LoadRunner(LR) and QuickTest Professional (QTP). The positions will be involved in the whole lifecycle of software product development, including new feature development, testing, and product releasing, and will have good opportunities to work with talented international team to develop the best-in-class testing software.
Products Descriptions:
LoadRunner (LR) is a performance and load testing product for examining system behavior and performance, while generating actual load. LoadRunner can emulate hundreds or thousands of concurrent users to put the application through the rigors of real-life user loads, while collecting information from key infrastructure components (web servers, database servers, etc). The results can then be analyzed in detail, to explore the reasons for particular behavior in order to pinpoint performance bottlenecks.
QuickTest Professional (QTP) is UI automation software designed for testing web-based and Windows based applications. It is primarily used for functional regression test automation. QTP uses a scripting language built on top of vbscript to specify the test procedure, and to manipulate the objects and controls of the application under test
Job Position: Tech Lead
Responsibilities:
Conducting and coordinating software development activities, while leading a team of 2-5 engineers
Designing & developing functional and/or technical capabilities within the products, while making ongoing design decisions
Taking full maintenance ownership on various product areas, while providing outstanding customer support
Facilitating cooperation with local and on-shore teams (working closely with LoadRunner/QTP TLs), as well as with external teams such as QA and technical publications, while keeping high visibility and effective communication
Providing ongoing input for project planning
Setting high execution standards, while adhering to project goals and insuring high quality
Coaching, training and developing the people in the team
Providing in depth technical knowledge and guidance to the team, according to identified needs
Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering
Minimum 5 years of overall experience as part of meaningful software development lifecycle
Significant experience leading software team within global organization(s)
Strong leadership skills. Ability to motivate and develop people.
Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)
High organized, excellent quality & timely deliveries discipline
Strong background in C++, C#, and/or WPF. Significant exposure to other technologies.
OOPOOD understanding and proven practice. Strong architecture-awareness (application model and/or implementation tiers)
Ability and will to influence - setting an agenda and striving to reach it. Results orientation.
