Position Sought: Product Manager (PM)
Location: Shanghai

The service allows members to send money without sharing financial information, with the flexibility to pay using their account balances, bank accounts, credit cards or promotional financing. With more than 84 million active accounts in 190 markets and 24 currencies around the world, it enables global ecommerce. Our client is an global company and is made up of three leading online payment services: the global payment service, the Pay flow Gateway and Bill Me Later. The company's open payment platform, allows developers to build innovative payment applications on multiple platforms and devices.
The Product Manager works with internal and external parties to develop and manage products supporting Import buying business. This role has a dotted line reporting into Head of Product.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Manage and drive the development of CN Import Buying products/portal
Liaise with all functional teams (Marketing, CS, Core Payment) to gather all requirements for Product functionalities;
Endure all requirements are captured, prioritized and acted on accordingly;
Communicate milestones and ensure timely execution of product development;
Manage third party vendors/partners.
2.Maintain the CN Import Buying product/portal (both domestic & cross-border)
Follow the global release cycles, ensure that features are smoothly launched on the China platforms
Managed Content/QA staff to regular perform the content localization and testing process
Ensure production bugs are auctioned on and closed out where appropriate
SKILLS REQUIRMENT:
1.Excellent communication skills (both English and Chinese)
2.Banking / payments industry experience
3.Strong leadership skills and demonstrated effectiveness in managing projects
4.Strong project management expertise
5.Demonstrated passion for internet technologies (current and emerging) and their potential applications
6.Pragmatic and results focused, with a strong bias for action and a commitment to meeting objectives
7.Thorough and disciplined planning and analytical skills
8.Flexible, open and skilled at working with a broad range of people across teams and cultures
9.Demonstrate a clear understanding and appreciation of company’s business model, and the potential growth and direction of its business
10.Flexible and responsive to out of hours responsibilities and travel requirements
11.Self starter with plenty of initiative and drive
12.Strong and meticulous attention to detail
EDUCATION & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
1.Degree qualified (IT related preferable)
2. 8+ years of working experiences
3.Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent development projects through the full product/software development life cycle
4.Previous internet industry experience
5.In depth knowledge of the PayPal platform (desirable)
6.Fluent in both English; and fluent in Chinese is strongly preferred
7.Strong overall business acumen
8.Needs to be multicultural, i.e. can operate effectively locally as well as in international companies
