· Operation Manager, Medical Science Development & Cooperation (OM-MSDC) – is overall responsible for standardization of operational processes and budget control for both external medical cooperation (EMC) projects and outcomes research (OR) projects.
· JOM-MSDC is also responsible for compliance enhancement within the Medical Science Development & Cooperation team. The responsibility also includes developing and updating local working procedures, organizing internal training to the team and setting up tracking system for both external medical cooperation projects and outcomes research projects.
As such, good understanding of the company;s policies and SOPs, as well as industry code of conduct is crucial. Excellent project management skills and deep knowledge of Chinese Medical Society are mandatory. Good communication skills are preferred.
KEY RESULT AREAS & JOB ACTIVITIES /TASKS
1. Set up and maintain standardized operational processes
Closely work with EMC/OR teams and Medical Quality Compliance team to set up operational processes for EMC and OR projects
Review and improve the operational processes annually to ensure efficiency
2. Develop and maintain project filing system
Closely work with EMC/OR teams to set up filing system for EMC and OR projects based on Good Documentation Practice
Review and improve the filing system twice a year to meet the highest quality standard
3. Organize sufficient operational processes training and Company's policy refreshment to MSDC team to enhance compliance
Review standardized operational processes with the team on a necessary basis to ensure they are strictly followed
Review project filing quarterly to ensure that they are updated in time
4.Set up and maintain budget control system
Set up budget control system to plan, track and control EMC/OR project spending
Set up budget control system to plan, track and control MSDC team spending
Prepare budget tracking report to supervisor monthly
5. Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational /Training
• At least bachelor degree in medical science
• Master of Business Administration is a plus
2. Working Experiences
• At least three years working experience in Medical department in Multinational Pharmaceutical company
• Clinical project management or medical quality standard experience is preferred
