Key Responsibilities:
1.Provide day-to-day leadership, vision, creativity, and management within the organization.
2.Working in cooperation with sales, drive the organization to achieve and surpass sales, growth, profitability, cash flow, market-share, and business goals and ob<x>jectives; and spearhead the development and communication of effective growth strategies and processes.
3.Measure the effectiveness of all internal and external process.
4.Report regularly, at least monthly, on critical business performance metrics with the general manager.
5.Develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure of systems, procedures, policies, processes and personnel to accommodate rapid and continuous growth of sales and profits.
6.Attract, recruit, mentor, motivate, lead, develop and retain a high performance management team
7.Participate and contribute significantly to company wide strategic and tactical business planning with the majority JV partner in the US in conjunction with the general manager.
8.Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment
9.Demonstrate and ensure within the management team a high-level of urgency, initiative, drive and responsibility toward the accomplishment of goals that will result in successful conduct of the business.
10.Represent the organization with customers, investors, business partners, and employees.
11.Direct and manage, through the Deputy Plant Manager, plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, equipping, purchasing, shipping,and other operational functions.
12.Implement cost effective systems of control and cash management over capital requirements, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
13.Manage capital asset acquisition, repair, and maintenance -- including the physical plant, equipment, tooling, etc.
14.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
15.Control and minimize overhead, overtime, premium freight, and equipment maintenance and repair.
16.Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and ob<x>jectives.
17.Ensure good care of equipment.
18.Ensure safety standards, plant cleanliness, and environmental responsibility.
19.Ensure Lean Manufacturing standards, techniques are taught and followed.
20.Provide leadership for employee relations through regular and effective communication.
21.Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate continuous improvement, corrective actions and improved working relationships.
22.Determine operational and staff headcount needs, salaries and benefits, and present recommendations regarding the same to the general manager for approval.
23.Identify and present recommendations for capital investment and improvement plans.
24.Manage and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of the PRC and local governmental authorities.
25.Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the general manager.

Qualifications:
Education: BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or Operations.
Experience:Five to ten years as COO, Director or Operations, or Plant Manager of a US-owned or Western European-owned company in China, which is ba<x>sed on the development and processing of material science-ba<x>sed components. Union environment experience is preferred.
Country of Origin:Chinese National
Knowledge: Business, Finance and Operations.
Background: Manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and
procedures: i.e., Lean, 6-σ, etc.
Technical skills: Materials and inventory management.
Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Planning: Ability to conduct, implement, and achieve strategic and tactical plans.
Language: High-level proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (speech and writing).
Computer: High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills


Location: Xiamen Fujian.
