Sales & Marketing Director
Our client is a global leading company in mechanical products. Due to their increased activities in China Region, an opportunity has now arisen for the role of Sales & Marketing Director - China, to take the responsibilities for further developing the company’s China strategies and businesses.
Key Job Characteristics:
u Communicates with worldwide sales groups and setting sales forecasting and sales targets.
u Devising and deploying all sales objectives and goals across the company, including sales targets and budgets preparation.
u Conducting analysis in order to manage performance levels of sales against market developments and corporate objectives.
u Track and evaluate current accounts, target distributors, and target end users with Sales forces quarterly.
u Developing and implementing reseller agreements, distribution strategies, and other sales opportunities.
u Provides useful product requirement information to production planning.
u Coordinates sales with production to insure inventory levels are maintained at targeted levels
u Processing, dispatching, and ordering invoice.
u Organizing training to distributors.
u Feeding customer and market application, new product information to distributors.
u Monitoring distributor provided technical support.
u Evaluating annually to review performance, activity and set up targets.
u Performing research to determine potential resellers or new distributors and recruiting new distributors.
u Sharing marketing research determinations with product development, research and development and marketing departments.
u Identifying new product and market opportunities.
u Establishing sales opportunities for direct sales in markets and situations that require this type of sales.
u Compiling customer applications for company products.
u Seeking out new promotional opportunities for company products.
u Assisting in creation, co-ordination and production of marketing collateral, press releases and exhibition graphics.
u Generating intelligence of company competitors.
u Building and managing sales force and distribution network.
u Coordinating and representing recruitment exhibitions, literature festivals, trade fairs, and other events, including follow of contacts.
Role Competencies & Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
u Proven ability to interact effectively with Senior Executives.
u Strong distributor, OEM, and direct sales skills.
u Should have solid negotiation skills.
u Intimate knowledge of sales and marketing.
u Knowledge of distributors/dealers in China for our business preferred.
u Excellent English: written as well as verbal communication skills.
u Should have high presentation and demonstration skills.
u Should operate effectively under minimal supervision.
u Prepared to travel anytime.
u Excellent interpersonal and managing project skills.
Education and Qualifications
u Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
u Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field from an accredited institution.
u Background in related products with similar distribution channels.
