Position: Sales Manager - Japan
Work Location: Preferred Japan, will consider Beijing or Shanghai
Nationality: Japanese
Accountabilities
• Direct and drive sales activities of Japanese customers and create growth for the company's PCB and EMS segments.
• Lead sales efforts with regional sales representatives, Global Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales budget of Japanese accounts.
• Develop new Japanese accounts in the Automotive, Telecom, Computer/Datacom, Industrial & Instrumentation and Military/Aerospace sectors.
• Develop Japan sales plan and strategy that creates new business opportunities and to achieve sales budget.
• Execute Japan sales plans and collaborate with account managers, program managers and operations department within the company and keep Sector VPs and management informed and appropriately involved.
• Manage and coordinate external Japanese representatives and agents who cover Japanese accounts.
• Determine needs for additional external Japanese representatives and agents to more quickly and effectively grow our customer base and sales within each of the companies Sectors.
Job Requirements:
• Tertiary education in Business or Engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years sales experience in PCB or EMS or electronic components industry. (PCB experience should be our priority).
• Proactive, aggressive and with strong new customer development skill.
• Analytical and with strong business acumen.
• Excellent human relations, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Embraces positive energy, enthusiasm, and leadership qualities.
• Fluent English & Japanese.
