Mgr, Cellular L1 SW - iPhone
Cellular L1 SW Manager - manage the L1 and DSP SW team for cellular baseband SW group.
• Work with cross-functional teams on baseband performance issues, drive radio vendors to solve L1/DSP issues on drop calls, data throughput and power consumption
• Work with peer experts from radio vendor on new technologies, drive for optimum architecture and performance for L1/DSP sub-systems
• Assist with interoperability and type approval testing
Required Experiences:
• MS/Ph.D. in EE/CS
• Broad experience in 3GPP technologies - GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, LTE etc.
• Expert in 3GPP PHY layers, good knowledge of layer 1-3 protocols
• Minimum 7 years experience on L1/DSP development for GSM/UMTS chipset and/or handset, track record of successfully delivering world-class products
• Experience with L1 integration with upper layer protocol stack
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• At least 2 years experience managing a team of highly experienced engineers
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
