Role Purpose:
Manages compensation/benefits programs across Asia Pacific and China Business Units supporting the Company's compensation philosophy.
Principal Accountabilities:
Designs and delivers compensation/benefits programs and solutions to support key business initiatives and goals.
Collaborates with Human Resources, global compensation/benefits, and line management to develop and implement effective programs to enable managers to more effectively attract, retain, reward and motivate employees.
Manages Regional Mobility program, designing packages and relocation support
Ensures that compensation/benefit administration guidelines and practices are established to be externally competitive, consistent with company philosophy and are managed within the organization's financial plan.
Ensures the integrity of applicable systems.
Develops budget recommendations and forecasts costs for programs.
Provides internal consulting support to Human Resources and line management on complex compensation/benefits related issues.
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the design and delivery of ba<x>se pay, variable compensation and sales compensation. Knowledgeable on legislation impacting pay programs. Solid foundation in compensation theories and broad knowledge of practices.
Organization Reporting and Scope:
•Reports to: Dir, Compensation/Benefits APAC/EMEA
Additional Requirements:
Strong analytical and program management skills. Ability to understand business strategy and plans and translate into pro-active compensation processes. Consultative skills, (i.e. idea marketing, negotiation, influencing, relationship building, conflict resolution and effective communication), and collaboration skills across organizations. Meets deadlines and commitments. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
