Description:
Responsible to provide technical and managerial leadership in Field Test and key functional tests for world leading cutting-edge smartphone, to assure the product is ready for commercial launch in Asia. PM responsibilities include leading and monitoring the team in fulfilling responsibilities including hardware and software test, supporting result acceptance, writing test reports, troubleshooting, and issue delivery to the development team. The PM will manage the Test team’s execution of test cases, ad hoc and end user test scenarios to ensure the product is in compliance with both carrier and manufacturer requirements.
This position would involve up to 25% international travel to lead, mentor and monitor the teams in various geographies in Asia.
Required experience and qualifications
· 4+ years of Field Test leadership experience
· 2+ years of Project Management experience
· Understanding of the software development life-cycle or relevant experience in real-time software or mobile software testing.
· Extensive knowledge of mobile phone functions and mobile network technology like GSM and CDMA.
· Excellent English reading, writing and speaking.
· Extensive practical knowledge of wireless technology such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, CDMA2001X, EVDO, LTE
· Proficiency in managing team processes using available tools.
· Excellent teamwork skills
