We saw an endless number of personal video players at CES, so many that it's hard to keep them straight. The ones that got the most attention were the personal video players from Samsung and Creative running Microsoft's new Portable Media Center software (top two pics), but there were way, way more out there, most of them from obscure manufacturers we'd never heard of before and which are unlikely to ever see the light of day here in the US.
Samsung's YH-999.
Creative's Zen Portable Media Center.
G. Credit's CT-PMP58A Portable Media Player.
Montego's Portable Media Player, which has a 3.5-inch screen and a 20GB hard drive, and comes with an infrared remote control and a CompactFlash memory card slot for transferring photos from a digital camera.
The PAV-3502 MP4 Audio and Video Player, which has a 3.5-inch screen.
This portable video player from Safa came in both large and small versions.
Joycoder's Portable Video Player, which has a 3.5-inch screen and up to a 40GB hard drive.
The MagicEyes, which uses Flash memory cards instead of a hard drive, and has built-in camera for recording video clips.
Suga's MPEG-4 Player PVP-10, which has a 3.5-inch screen and up to a 40GB hard drive.
