Software Test Lead
Software Design Engineer in Test

Following are the job descriptions:
1. Position: Software Test Lead
Location: Beijing
Are you a very experienced software test lead/manager looking for a change? Do you have passion for software testing? Do you want to be part of a fast-growing organization? If your answer to these questions is yes, this position could be the right one for you. The Advanced Technology Center at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA-ATC) is developing several new products based on cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for strong, passionate and technical software test leads to help build and lead a dynamic and fast-paced test team responsible for delivering high-quality products.
In this position you will be responsible for recruiting and manage Software Design Engineers in Test and Software Test Engineers to form a top quality, highly effective test team. You will also work closely with product group partner teams as well as ATC development teams and program managers to define test strategy, identify required test tools and harnesses, oversee test execution and test tools development, guide, mentor and grow people in your team. You will also be responsible for driving quality into the product throughout the product cycle, through product design reviews, code reviews, strong and thorough test automation, regression prevention, in-depth feature testing and tight integration between development & test teams.
Qualifications:
1) 3+ years of software development or testing experience with a minimum of 1 year of test management during complete product cycle for at least one commercial product.
2) Advanced knowledge of coding (C++, C#) and strong debugging skills.
3) Good knowledge of various test methodologies, techniques and harnesses.
4) Strong problem solving skills and project management skills.
5) Good knowledge in one or more of the following fields: audio/video technologies, networking, real-time collaboration, telephony, data mining, and web search.
6) "Lead by example" attitude and passion about shipping high quality products.
7) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical fields.
2. Position: Software Design Engineer in Test
Location: Beijing
Are you a very experienced software test engineer looking for a change? Do you have passion for software testing? Do you want to be part of a fast-growing organization? If your answer to these questions is yes, this position could be the right one for you. The Advanced Technology Center at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA-ATC) is developing several new products. We are looking for several strong and passionate software design engineers in test to build a dynamic and fast-paced test team responsible for delivering high-quality products.
In this position you will work closely with developers and program managers to create and execute thorough test plans, to develop and implement test cases, and to select and/or develop appropriate test tools. You will also be responsible for driving quality into the product throughout the product cycle, through product design reviews, code reviews, strong and thorough test automation, regression prevention, and in-depth feature testing.
Qualifications:
1) 1+ years of software development or testing experience.
2) Strong programming skills (C/C++/C#) and debugging skills.
