The Business Systems Analyst provides functional support for various
systems and/or applications by being the main liaison between both
internal and customer business users and technical teams to identify analyze
and translate needs into specifications. Business Systems Analyst may
also lead small teams for a specific project. This role requires strong
communication skills to be able to interact with the business and the
technical teams (verbal and written). BSAs also lead the requirements
phase and the testing phase of projects. Development of use cases,
technical specifications, test plans, test cases are key work products that
the BSA is required to produce. Strong facilitation and leadership
skills are also required. The following are the key characteristics of the
position.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering and
development- Strong experience with systems analysis and functional design
Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end
users can understand and can be presented in English and Chinese
Strong leadership qualities, Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 8 -
10 business analyst
At least 10 - 15 years in Banking
Strong Knowledge of the Chinese banking system
Good understanding of technology
Experience with documentation and problem resolution
Meeting facilitation skills
Ability to present ideas and information in-group settings
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
Understanding of structured programming techniques
The ability to create a positive and professional business relationship
with internal and external clients
Technical Skills: Project Management skills, MS Project, Use Cases,
Excel, Visio and Power Point
Good understanding of application Quality Assurance and User Acceptance
Testing
