The Sales Support Director role works independently on the most complex proposal to create end-to- end business solutions for the JV strategic pursuit. Recognized as a thought leader in multiple industries or specialties.
The Sales Support Director acts as an integral part of the development of sales strategy. Develops solution strategies with CEO by identifying specific needs, critical business factors, solution limitations, etc. Provides oversight on cost models and the JV feeder cost models. Identifies and assembles appropriate internal and external resources to support sales proposed.
The role leads the JV pursuit teams on proposed business solutions design. Identifies strategic industry or the Chinese company’s sales approaches. Represents sales team by communication and resolving problems with internal support groups such as sales team, proposal team, and portfolio development team finance/costing team. Lead pursuit team in all value review board.
The Sales Support Director may oversee large or strategic deals through the entire sales cycle, including leading client meetings, managing proposal development, identifying project leaders for portions of the Sales support process, and functioning as a liaison for the development of the solutions architecture. Participates in contract negotiations.

- Aligns sales expense to achieve pursuit budget , works with GM and the Chinese company sales team to win the deal
- This role have no TCV, revenue, and profit target at the beginning phase of operations.
Forecasting
- Lead Sales Support team, under GM direction and work with the Chinese sales team to complete the Sales Target.
Risk
- Manages and mitigates sales risks
Overall
- Responsible for the successful sales of targeted IT services. Manages day-to-day sales and related activities. Ensures to provide sales strategic solution and view to partner with the Chinese company. Build and manage sales support relationship with client and the Chinese company.
