Qualifications :
Engineer or PhD in Chemical Engineering or related technology degree
Strong Technical knowledge in Polymers Materials is required
Experience Required
Business / Sales / Marketing experience (1 –3 yrs) or Technical Engineering / Research experience (1-3 yrs).
A graduate with a strong traineeship experience will be accepted.
The Individual Needs
- Strong communication skills in Chinese (preferably Chinese Native Speaker) and in English are a must
- To be a self starter with a creative vision
- To challenge our business with new ideas for growth
- To be able to logically problem solve, make a conclusion and then communicate effectively
- To be able to commercialize a new development to make our business successful
- To be market wise, not every perfectly engineered idea is a success. Can you balance the technical requirements with customer/market requirements resulting in new business. One without the other is not sufficient.
- To demonstrate strong project management skills
- To demonstrate good people skills to support cross functional work required (technical, business management, customer/prospects,etc.)
- Need to have competence to access all potential information gathering sources, electronic / computer and other. Both internal ( SAP etc.) and external.
- Willing to travel 50% of his time in Asia
- Perpared to work in Kyoto, or China to be decided by Arkema as needed.
