Responsibilities: Teach Sniffer University courses at internal/customer locations worldwide. Must possess and demonstrate the ability to successfully communicate to a large audience the ability to use a Sniffer to troubleshoot and analyze networks based on all major network topologies. Non-teaching week activities include: preparing/validating courseware exercises, working with IT support to prepare equipment for future class deliveries, certifying to delivery additional courses, and other educational project involvement as assigned. Available to support sales inquiries / training. In order to stay current with technology, an instructor will be prepared to work as a junior consultant Sniffer product related services. Independently maintain subject matter expert skills in individual area of expertise. At least 50% platform/travel time required.
Location: Hong Kong and Singapore
Requirements: Fluent in English. Prior experience in network design and/or network troubleshooting while utilizing the Sniffer Analyzer. Must posses a firm understanding of network protocols and a demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues/programs in a group atmosphere. Must demonstrate the following skills: strong process analysis and process improvement capabilities. Superior presentation skills required. Minimum three-year’s experience in network troubleshooting/operations/management required. Sniffer Certified Professional certification required within 3 months of hire. Experience Desired:Prior experience developing and delivering network courseware. Industry certifications to include: SCP,SCE, SCM, CNX, MCSE, CCNA, CCDP, CCNP and CCIE. Three years experience with the following: Windows, distributed computing architectures, programming, network management, and network design. Prior network consulting experience with Sniffer implementation experience. Capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field or appropriate work history with supporting industry certifications.
