We ;left dock ;before sunset Friday night, and anchored on the river for the night. ; It wasn't the best night to take the boat out. Northeast wind gust to 20 mph. It rained so hard, in times it felt like rain drops fly sideways. It took us half an hour to fight the waves to set the anchor. I remembered asking my crew before setout if they really wanted to do it considering the rough weather. They all like, "this is going to be so much fun. We are GO!"
But I felt like George Clooney in Perfect Storm.... oh well.
.....
We made through the night, and got to the Atlantic in the Morning. It was a gorgeous sailing day. Hope you enjoy the pictrues. .
lantern burned all night long, it's about to die out in the dawn light

Riding the waves

Aha, we ;caught a fish

 ;
Passing by the Grills in Port Canaveral. My sailing mentor spotted me skipping the sailboat and called me when we ;were passing by. ;

It's a single handed old sailor from Boston. The skipper must be at least 70s. Beautiful boat.

Coming back to marina at sunset
