Channel Sales Manager for Mid Market Applications
Business Practices and Operations:
The goal of the Channel Sales Manager is to build and manage mid market applications partners community. The Channel Sales Manager drive partners to achieve mid market applications sales target. It’s a quota-carrying position. The Channel Sales Manager works closely with Oracle Marketing, OrD and Industry Sales to ensure alignment of sales activities between Oracle industry/OrD sales and partners.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
-Develop an annual business plan with each managing mid market applications partner to meet annual sales target.
-Leverage marketing dept. to execute the GTMis defined in the business plan
-Establish a partner mapping for mid market application sales and coordinate between Oracle direct sales and partners to ensure the partner mapping strategy being executed.
-Conduct quarterly business reviews with managing partners.
-Build and manage the executive relationships with the partners
-Leverage partner enablement team to improve the level of partner revenue readiness
-Assign opportunities to appropriate partners to minimize deal risk and monitor the follow -up
-Proactively manage the partners’ pipeline and forecast
-Manage the contractual and business processes to ensure partners doing business smoothly with Oracle
-Support industry/OrD sales to leverage/negotiate with partners for closing deals
REQUIREMENTS:
-3+ years successful sales or channel experience and a proven track record of driving business in an enterprise ERP vendor or ERP service provider
-Proven new business development skills within MRD industry
-Skillful at interfacing with senior executives within Oracle and the partner
-Strong written, verbal, presentation, and sales skills
-Enterprise applications software experience
-Fluency in English and Mandarin
