1. NEW YORK , Feb 6 (Reuters) - Chinese biotechnology firm 3SBio Inc. on Tuesday raised $123.2 million with an initial public offering that was priced above range. The 7.7 million American depositary share (ADS) offering sold for $16 per share compared with a $12 to $14 forecast range, according to an underwriter. Each ADS represents seven common shares. Underwriters, including UBS Investment Bank, CIBC World Markets and Pacific Growth Equities, have the option to purchase an additional 1.16 million ADS to cover over-allotments, according to the filing.The company applied to list shares on the Nasdaq under the symbol "SSRX."
2. 3SBio Inc. Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

SHENYANG, China , Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- 3SBio Inc. ("3SBio" or the "Company"), a leading biotechnology company focused on researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing biopharmaceutical products primarily in China , announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,700,000 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs"), each representing seven ordinary shares, at a price to the public of US$16.00 per ADS. 3SBio is selling 7,187,817 ADSs in the offering and 512,183 ADSs are being sold by selling shareholders. The Company expects to receive net proceeds of approximately $102.0 million from the sale of its ADSs and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of ADSs by the selling shareholders. The ADSs are expected to begin trading on February 7, 2007 on The NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "SSRX."
3SBio and the selling shareholders have granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 1,155,000 additional ADSs to cover over-allotments, if any. The Company intends to utilize the proceeds from the offering for the construction of new facilities, enhancing and upgrading existing facilities, clinical trials, ongoing research and development, expansion of sales efforts, in-licensing products, working capital and other general corporate purposes. UBS Investment Bank is acting as sole book-running manager. CIBC World Markets and Pacific Growth Equities, LLC are co-managers.
3. 3SBio Prices IPO at $16 Per ADS

NEW YORK (AP) -- 3SBio Inc., a Chinese biotech company, on Wednesday said it priced its initial public offering of 7.7 million American depositary shares at $16 each, above a previously reported range. The ADS were originally expected to be priced between $12 and $14 each. Each ADS represents seven regular shares, the company said. Shares should begin trading Wednesday on the Nasdaq under the ticker "SSRX". 3SBio is offering 7.2 million shares, and expects to generate proceeds of about $102 million from the sale. Shareholders are selling the remainder of the shares in the offering. The company plans to use the proceeds to build or improve facilities, conduct clinical trials, expand sales efforts, and for general corporate purposes. Underwriters include UBS Investment Bank, CIBC World Markets and Pacific Growth Equities, LLC. They have the option to buy up to 1.2 million shares more to cover overallotments.
