Server Administrator
The candidate will be part of China ITEC team, and will be responsible for participating in both local and regional Unix and Windows Server team.
Technical Ability
• Understanding of Active Directory
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Servers products
• Strong Knowledge of VB scripting
• Knowledge of VMWare would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Unix especially Solaris 8 to 10, Linux RH.
• scripting experience (Unix shell & Perl)
• Legato Networker knowledge would be a plus.

The Role
The candidate will be required to:
• Handle on a regular basis a regional support for Windows Server team.
• Handle the system administration of the Windows Server environment in China.
• Handle the Active Directory within the Regional Team.
• Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards.
• Work in a regional team and be ready to support other locations
• Work under pressure and fast-paced environment to resolve issues quickly and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as well as training of users as and when required.
• Install/Maintain/Support Unix based servers and workstation in China.
• Work in close relationships with other SGCIB Unix administrators, to ensure Regional coherency of Unix set ups and the leverage of work globally done on Unix systems.
Reporting
The candidate will report to the SG China Head of IT infrastructure. He will also have a functional reporting to the Regional Manager for Servers and Storage.
