Technical knowledge, skills & expertise
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Expertise in designing to meet worldwide compliance requirements.
Provide ME system/chassis/module architecture direction.
Technical expertise in 3D solids based MCAD system and desire for maximum productivity. Proficiency in Thermal Analysis tools (Flotherm, Icepak, etc.) and/or structural analysis SW tools (Ansys, Pro Mechanical etc) desirable.
Able to perform complex stress, beam and thermal calculations to guide designs. Proficient in geometric tolerance and tolerance analysis.
Technical leadership in designing, testing and project managing the development of computer product for worldwide commercial use.
Able to generate test plans, conduct tests and generate test reports for Thermal and MDVT.
Intimate knowledge and implementation of corporate standards relative to their discipline, participates on corporate standards committees.
Understanding of Safety Agency design criteria and EMC design techniques for modules and enclosures.
Demonstrate leadership in Project Management process and schedule tools. Determines hardware needs and requirements for the team.
Typically requires BSME or equivalent training with 7-10+ years related experience. Preferred: MSME or equivalent. Global work experience with US companies preferred.
