1. I am pretty modest. I am doing half kelly spread from 1 to 8 unit.
2. I am doing hit and run. never take more than 500 from one casino. never stay more than one and half hour in one casino.
3. the book beyond counting is about hole carding and other technique the author found benefit him during year 2000-2006. He benefit a lot from these new technique. But the house found the loop hole and begin to patch them now.
4. spanish BJ and SF21 got some new fashion. Because people begin to exploit them more and more now. Bj got too much scrutinizing recently, even green chip got heat. But very few people is willing to share the technique. So it seems I have to buy CVdata simulation software to devise the technique myself.
5. I am still neverous to do raise bet.
6. Indian casino seems very rude to customer, and also very bad air quality.
last week, only 300 dollar winning, the boss stare at me all the time.

so I guess you know how to do hole carding too.

the reason why some books are very expensive is cuz very few high level players could really benefit from the books
given that u just started BJ not long ago, I doubt u r at the level the book is targeting [see also my reply below]

Higher level play means more difficult technique, which does not necessarily mean proportionally more winning. this is why we should stop at the "knee point", beyond which more effort would not generate proportionally more winning.
for the above reason, forget shuffle tracking or the likes for the time being.
3. betting on Crap, pass line to wash my match play coupon, it is the best way to bet?
It is the best way to wash ur chips mathematically, but it is too showy, drawing the house's attention.
play Blackjack, win and lose, up and done, more natural. Baccarat does the same.
if u really want to wash by crap, be sure to bet "hard Two" proportionally to protect ur bet on pass and don't pass [Is it "hard two"? I don't quite remamber, but I mean the wiping out combination.]
Final comments: do not try to be a big winner too soon, rather, try to be a moderate winner consistently, which was why I was the ONLY real winner I saw during my 10 yrs in Vegas. |
