More Specifically:
Sales – The candidate must be driven to achieve pre-determined sales objectives. Quickly and efficiently qualifying prospects to determine if there is a sales opportunity. Must always have knowledge of where they are in the sales cycle and where they are in relation to their assigned goals.
Technical – Responsible for technical aspects of sales into assigned enterprise accounts. The candidate must be able to engage effectively in architectural and technical discussions with customer/prospect technical staff from the CIO to the Systems Programmer to a Technical Coordinator. This experience is critical in being able to shape technical solutions in ‘real-time’ with prospects. Must possess the ability to assess customer's needs and strategically leverage Apple and third party subject matter expert resources to shorten the sales cycle. It will also be necessary to be able to accurately scope those solutions in the form of descriptions of services for engaging and quoting a comprehensive solution.
Communications – Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are required. A very high level of responsiveness and proactive communications with prospects, customers and the sales team. The ability to discuss the value of a comprehensive mobile solution in is imperative. Capability of conducting technical training to customers and channels are required.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum BS with 3 years of successful sales engineer experience
• Strong sales characteristics and skills, including: qualifying skills, overcoming objections and obstacles to a sale, and asking for the business
• Experience selling mobile solutions
• Hands on knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows and Mac OS.
• Strong knowledge of network integration, server configuration and administration.
• Good knowledge of Apple and core technologies is preferred
• Experiences of mobile device management is a plus
