(1)if you are around 30 years old: I suggest you stay in US and develop yourself while you have to wait for greencard
(2)if you are almost 40 years old: it is not worth waiting for greencard before haigui.
(3)also it depends on your career fields: science/technical vs management/finance. If you have extensive valuable experience in US management fields, believe me, sooner or later you will find Hai Gui opportunity no matter how old you are. Looking at top senior executive positions of US company in China,most of them are 40-50 years old.
