php is good for presentation layer design, lots of e-commerce stuff don't even have php api, all java and .net.
but I do think php sould be more than enough for haiguinet.
I didn't say yahoo use php, I don't even know they do. I said they use mysql a lot.
I would guess in China people use asp/java much more than php.
So if development was put in china, asp/java might indeed be more logical choices. Oh well.
