Chief Information Officer

Core System Manager
Overall job purpose
Within an IT Department, the Core Systems Manager will be responsible for the core systems application system development and support with emphasis on the SAP Financials and Controlling modules and associated front to back office business processes.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
• Assist with the application support of SAP (Development, Testing and Production environments) at the Los Angeles HQ and the Bank’s Business Continuity site – specifically SAP Financials and Controlling Modules.
• Provide application support for Finance users, with particular emphasis on Treasury Accounting, Financial Accounting, Nostro reconciliations (Accurate application) and SAP Cash Management. Ensure that the business needs of the users are considered throughout all stages of the Support Cycle.
• Assist the SAP Support Team (“the Team”) in providing support for the SAP application to over 450 key users within the Bank’s Headquarters and Resident Offices across all business areas.
• Daily monitoring of interfaces to/from SAP and investigation and resolution of errors as necessary, including recovery of missing data.
• Liaise with the business and proactively identify and manage initiatives to improve the Bank’s use of SAP and associated processes. Manage and implement in-house SAP developments, primarily within the Finance area of the company.
• Develop configuration changes, including carrying out comprehensive testing of enhancements in association with the users, through to implementation in the live system.
• Provide formal, project and ad-hoc user training where required and create user training documentation when needed.
• Ensure that all support documentation files are updated in order that adequate service levels can be maintained.
• Monitor the Team’s call logging system and provide quick and efficient resolution to calls.
• Manage resolution of issues logged with third party support organisations until completion.
• Produce daily user exception reports for auditors.
• To deputise for other members of the Team as required.
• Undertake tasks as directed by management.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• Qualified accountant with 3 years post qualification experience
• At least seven years SAP experience, including two full SAP project lifecycles
• Detailed knowledge of SAP Configuration covering FI/CO and Special Ledger
• Knowledge of SAP Material Management and Human Resources also desirable
• Knowledge of ABAP an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Report Painter or Report Writer also desirable
• Previous experience of working in a banking environment and an understanding of treasury products an advantage
• Business analysis support experience.
• Experience in IT project planning and management support.

System Engineer
Manages web-related applications in support of the company’s Internet/Intranet strategies. Maintains e-commerce or business-related applications. Develops Internet-oriented server applications or applets. Requires experience with Java, Active Server Pages (ASP), C/C++, Cold Fusion, Active X, Visual Basic, and HTML/DHTML and an understanding of Component Object Model/Distributed Component Object Model (COM/DCOM), Common Object Request Broker Architecture (COBRA), and linking to back-end databases.
• Participate in the design and implementation of document and image management software solutions for clientele.
• Coordinate and work with Project Team to successfully deploy and install software and hardware while at the customer site.
• Fulfill technical requirements for post installation support such as diagramming network architecture, technical documentation, application integration, and database design.
• Provide support throughout the pre-sales, post installation time period via email, phone, and on site visits.
• Customize software solutions suing ASP, HTML, Java, Visual Basic, and other application development tools to create new applications for different vertical markets.
• Other responsibilities as determined by supervisor.
Provide full implementation of Information System software applications, to include the installation of hardware, software, and network components. Provide telephone technical support for customer base when not conducting installation projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preparation for new customer installations, including customer contact for coordination, the construction of the customer’s data tables, and preparation of hardware.
2. Installing the necessary workstation, server, network, and printer hardware at the customer site.
3. Installing the LIS application on either existing hardware.
4. Plan and conduct on-site customer training for system administrators and end-users.
5. Assist the customer through the g0-live phase with the new system
6. Provide telephone technical support from our corporate office when not involved in an on-site installation project.
7. Perform other collateral duties that may include new product testing, quality assurance, hardware testing, documentation, and the design or modification of customer training programs.
Responsible for supporting the testing, installation and Level 2 support of various network systems, and applications management solutions for the company's technology infrastructure. Responsible for meeting established SLA’s including pager response and resolution times, overall system up-time and system performance. Ensure accuracy and completeness of support documentation, response/troubleshooting procedures and escalation procedures.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Unix or Windows NT/2000 systems application experience and scripting / automation experience in a 24x7 operations support environment. The candidate must have the ability and experience of working on a number of simultaneous initiatives and teams and work effectively in a team environment.
Skills required: people management skills, leadership skills, problem resolution and excellent customer service skill s are critical, as well as the ability to resolve problems in a creative and quick time frame in order restore business operations and satisfy the customer. Product experience desired (as many as possible), Openview (entire suite), Tivoli (entire suite), Aprisma, Compaq Insight Manager, Peregrine (entire suite), Remedy, InfoVista, BMC Patrol (Mainview) and similar network, systems and workflow management products.
Web Designer
SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, designs electronic and printed materials, exhibit elements, and/or illustrations for a variety of company publications, displays, and other media, as appropriate. Design and construct web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques. Maintain and provide ongoing design of websites, promos, ad banners and Macromedia Flash presentations. Perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; reports to creative director. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conceptualizes, designs, and produces curriculum, training, and/or promotional materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, logos, office signage, exhibits, and/or displays.
2. Designs and produces camera-ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos.
3. Creates electronically-designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts, as appropriate to the position; may develop and produce web-based graphics, as requested.
4. Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements of the position.
5. Consults with faculty and staff to identify their graphics needs, budget constraints, and reasonable deadlines for the project; serves as a liaison between the client and printers/publishers.
6. Coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality: writes printing and other reproduction specifications (selects ink, paper, and print quality); inspects proofs for accuracy; recommends contractors (typesetters, printers, illustrators, photographers, cartographers).
7. Writes and edits basic copy, as appropriate, which may include press releases in some instances.
8. May coordinate a graphics or photographic library and/or maintain digital records.
9. May provide technical computer support and install software programs.
10. May coordinate and lead the work of others.

Web Master
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops and maintains company and subsidiary web pages
• Manage day to day site maintenance, deliver regular proactive updates, and execute on consistent project launch/press release web related activities. Prioritize activities, identify resources, and manage to completion.
• Post content updates for projects. Support project managers to implement projects plans and distribute web content.
• Interface with hosting company to optimize site performance to ensure the best visitor experience, deliver a secure site, and monitor/anticipate any performance related issues.
• Coordinate multiple related site including those for support, partners, and e-commerce.
• Monitor and optimize site for search referrals.
• Maintain site metrics, including tools to measure visitors, referrals, etc. Deliver regular weekly updates and ad hoc reports.
• Maintain and expand applications and channel partner site
• Develop landing pages, jump stations, and unique web forms for related marketing communications and tracking purposes
• Design graphics to support the company brand and message.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Web mastering in a business production environment – Absolutely unquestioned familiarity with HTML / CSS and related technologies.
Proejction experience with HSP, tag libraries and XML
First-hand experience with underlying SQL / procedural languages – Preference to work within a server side Linux environment
Fingertip flexibility with Illustrator, Photoshop and related look and feel tools
Ability to understand, design and build projects communicating business objectives through the web
Mastery of the diverse content paradigms of both an internal and external nature
Relative comfort with both content management systems and other information architecture standards
Emphasis on security every step of the way
Solid grip on statistical reporting and scalability matters that arise in every aspect of what we do

Program HTML and upload pages onto the site, and integrate multimedia assets and applications into the site. Develop and maintain a strategic plan for our internet presence, based on management priorities, policy directions and goals. Other duties include: create enhancements and modifications to our web site; organize and maintain the site; adapt to the changing scene with sometimes conflicting priorities; assess new standards, technologies and trends, and formulate strategies and plans for enhancing the site; maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility so that the web site is accessible from a variety of different environments. Produce a consistent visual image on the site by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, layout techniques, and modularization including maintenance of template and image archives. Determine appropriate compression techniques, resolutions, sizes, color maps, and depths to insure that images are delivered to the viewer at sufficiently high speed and quality.
Manage links and cross promotions with other sites, ensuring that links are up to date. Update information in pages and databases so that content is kept current. Check bugs and problems, diagnose and fix them. Ensure that all webmaster mail receive timely responses. Analyze traffic statistics and report on a monthly basis relevant information and the “what & why”. Develop, research, layout, write/edit new sections/features.
