Always enjoyed reading your articles. I agree with you consumption in china is going to be next growth point. Retail is something we are currently looking at. In general, retail is a tough business in u.s. Very competitive and low barrier to entry. Developing a brand and positioning are very important. For people who are interested in the sector, there are four things you may want to think:
1) assortments
2) price
3) service
4) location
One last point, start with one store and figure out inventory control, marketing, store management, and recruitement of management for expansion. Then it would be much easier to get funding for expansion.
