I can't agree more. By sending those genius boys/girls on the super fast track, it is as if putting them into a distorted environment. This also makes me think more of the tremendous pressures being put on young kids in the elementary/middler/high schools in China nowadays. Most of them devoted their time to academic studies. Children should be children and be at their age. They should have more time to play and learn how to deal with each other. Books are not the whole world. Healthy attitude and psychology are even more important for their journey down the road.
