will get some money back, but their huge loss is for sure. The company needs to get refinancings from other "not-burned-yet" banks for operational capitals with oks from the court. After the restructure of the company, it will be reborn again. 假如以后盈利，是否应该继续还债？No. It may have another IPO, like changing to a new 马甲，starting over again. For instance, Kmart declared Chapter 11, had a restructure, had a new IPO by Eddie Lampert, a "financial engineer" ($13 per share if I remember correctly), and then Kmart took over Sears Holdings and has kept Sears name. Its stock has been shooting up like a rocket to US$160 per share!!! before it fell to $130 some recently.
美国企业破产，员工还可以继续工作拿工资？Definitely as long as it is still an "on-going" company. If the company closes its doors, then everyone kisses the paycheck goodbye.
