I don't know how you heard 国外有时会把CDMA1X也归入3G??? 3G is WCDMA/HSPDA/HSUPA and CDMA 2000 (EVDO). I have been in 3G market for over 10 years. I knew what you are talking about. But something is definitely wrong, like 从2G延伸出来的3G概念也许就不再代表着一个电信网络，而只是代表着一种移动接入方式而已. It will take too much time to argue these. Surprising me a lot is that many funny concept is still missleading many people in China mobile industries. Believe me or not, 3G represent the comming of new multimedia world. Mobile media is the future and it will bring a new generation of technology just like internet did before.
So, my recommendation is to buy more stocks like Qualcomm, TI, Broadcomm. I did it two years ago and the fact told me that I am RIGHT.
