thanks for your reminding.
1. after 1-2 year, it depends on whether i can find a job like lecturer, there are chances, but you never known. right now, as a phd student, i only have temporary visa.
regarding research, it is more torward OB, & i know i m doing good. If I continue this path, i think i have chance in the future. But i have to write grant application, publishing... Often, academics in my area also do consulting for company.
working in the consultiing company can make more money, i mean in China. Maybe a more decent life style. Although i worked before, but never in business, but it seems very colorful. But starting as a junior is not that interesting, and it will probably take about 5 years to move up to senior. I would appreciate if anybody familiar with consulting business can provide me some info.
2. my wife is postdoc in US, H-1, no greencard. It may take time for her to find a job either in Shanghai, or EU, but Shanghai should be easier.
3. I am sociable, but i m not sure whether i am active, maybe in the middle. But so far, i get along with people very well in every organizations. People here or in China think I am reliable, always with manner, loyality, & caring. I don't think I am good at playing tricks. I am not sure how much I fit to consultant position.
